Progress Village Little League Mission Statement  

Progress Village Little League is proud to serve as a nonprofit youth organization and a chartered member of Little League Baseball Incorporated, operating under the official rules, guidelines, and safety standards established by Little League Baseball. As a chartered league, we are committed to upholding the integrity of the game while providing a structured, educational, and positive environment where young athletes can grow both on and off the field.

Little League Baseball thrives because of strong community involvement, and Progress Village Little League is no exception. Our program is made possible through the dedication of our players, the commitment of our volunteers, and the generosity of our local sponsors. Coaches, team parents, board members, umpires, and community partners all play an essential role in creating opportunities for youth to participate in organized baseball. Their support helps us provide uniforms, equipment, field maintenance, scholarships, and a safe, welcoming environment for every child who wants to play.

The mission of Progress Village Little League extends far beyond wins and losses. Our primary goal is to help youth in our community develop strong character while learning the fundamentals of baseball. Through structured practices, competitive games, and team-based experiences, players gain an understanding of sportsmanship, accountability, discipline, and respect. We emphasize the core values that the Little League program was founded upon — character, courage, loyalty, and teamwork — and we work intentionally to reinforce these principles in every aspect of our league.

Character is built when players learn to support one another, take responsibility, and represent their team with pride. Courage is developed as athletes step onto the field, try new positions, and push themselves to improve. Loyalty grows through commitment to teammates, coaches, and the league community. Teamwork is at the heart of everything we do, teaching players that success comes from collaboration, encouragement, and collective effort.

Progress Village Little League also strives to create a positive and inclusive environment where all children, regardless of skill level, have the opportunity to learn and participate.
